Compare and Contrast

This week for reading we were learning to compare and contrast. Compare and contrast means comparing something that is the same to something that's different. First we needed to go on our reading group and read a story of Matariki called  "The eyes of Tawhirimatea Story" so we could find something that's the same and different then we wrote our ideas on the whiteboard. After we read " The eyes of Tawhirimatea" we read another story of Matariki, so we could compare the similarities of the other story we read before. I found out that it said there was 9 stars in the first story and the other story was seven! I enjoyed comparing and contrasting.

I found it a bit challenging finding the contrast in the story.

Here are some more similarities from the storys.
