Today for maths we were learning how to make a multiplication table. First we watched a video on how you can make your own multiplication table. After watching the video, we made a copy of a slide and start making our own multiplication table chart. Then we also did a Kahoot of times tables.
I liked colouring each one of the boxes and getting to know almost all my times tables! I found it a bit difficult filling in some of the times tables but I managed to fill them in. I also did pretty good with the times table Kahoot. My digital learning object shows that I can embed my slide and post it onto my blog.
Please see my times tables chart and a picture of me playing the Kahoot bellow!
Dia dhuit Sophia,
ReplyDeleteYour chart is very colourful. Does it help you learn your times tables by using the commutative property? That means 9x3=3x9. So really, once you know the basic times tables there aren't many others you need to learn.
When I was at school, this chart was on the back cover of my Maths book so that's how I learnt mine. For some reason, I found them easy to remember.
Do you know all your times tables? Which ones are you learning at the moment?
Mā te wā,
Mrs Naden
