Te Kuri a Paoa
A few weeks ago we were learning about Kiwa and Paoa for art. We used a big black piece of paper, then we had to grab an white pastels to draw the outline of Kuri. After we done that we used an orange pastel to colour the saddle then we put the yellow on top. After we coloured in the saddle we got an brown pastel to colour the fur. After we put the brown down we used a orange pastel on top of the brown so it can blend into a different type of brown. Then lastly we had use a white pastel for the hair stroke on Kuri. I found it tricky to learn and blend the pastels together. I enjoyed drawing and blending colours of Kuri. Here is my work
