For the past few weeks we were learning to gather, sort and display multivariate data. We had to try to ask everyone in the class. I was trying to see how much people have a cat, dog, fish or none, and we also had to use tally-marks to gather our information. Then we put how much your tally-marks are on a google sheet, then we made a graph with some help of tutorials on the classsite. I thought it was a bit tricky for me to finish in time because i didn't really know how to make a graph before but then i know now because one amazing person made a tutorial of how to make a graph if you don't know how to and i'm one of them so i watched the tutorial and i managed to do it very quickly because of how she explained on the tutorial. I found out that cats had the most tally marks! Cats have 11, dogs have 8, fish and none is 2, i might have missed some people but i tried to question a few or even a couple of the people in my class. Here is my work.

ReplyDeleteI really like how you put your information you gathered on your graph that you made in google sheets.
I learnt that lots of people own cats than dogs in room 1.
Maybe you could change the colors of your graph so it looks more interesting. Maybe you could also say how many girls or boys in room 1 own cats more than dogs.
